Giovanni Guidetti - Yarının Sultanları
Giovanni Guidetti, the head coach of the Turkish Women’s National Volleyball Team and VakıfBank Volleyball Team, has launched a special social responsibility project called “Sultans of Tomorrow.”
The aim of the project is to introduce volleyball to young girls living in socially and economically disadvantaged regions of Turkey and to inspire them to fall in love with the sport.
Giovanni Guidetti said, “The brave, hardworking, and strong female athletes of this country have helped me achieve my dreams and goals as a coach. In return, I want to reach out to girls all across the country and encourage them to dream big. I don’t know exactly how to do that—but I do know I’m not too bad at teaching volleyball.” Shortly after saying this, we hit the road.
In the first phase of the Sultans of Tomorrow project, we enabled more than 150 girls in Bitlis and over 300 girls in Elazığ to train with the head coach of the National Team and the female athletes accompanying him.
In the second phase, we returned to Bitlis to see how the lives of the girls we trained a year ago have changed, to educate physical education teachers in the region, and to train volunteer students who will ensure the sustainability of the project.

Bursa was also among the stops in the third season of Giovanni Guidetti’s Sultans of Tomorrow project, which he launched to inspire a love for volleyball among young girls across Turkey.
